“Naomi Utamakura expressed all human emotions. There were love, anger, respect, hate and nostalgia in her performance. These emotions showed oriental history, customs, and through them we could see and feel the country which is so far away. The audience stopped taking a breath for a while to listen better to the music. Japanese gestures, facial expressions, costumes, hairstyle, graphics in the background, and first of all, the timbre of Naomi’s voice - all were wonderful. People in the audience gave long standing ovation because they recognized real art in this performance.” (Polish Newspaper, Nov. 2010)
